Overview

Please note you will need to enter the * key to define the periods in the IP address . ie: 10*0*0*10 = 10.0.0.10. Make sure to hang up between each part of this step. After picking up the phone, dial **** to re-enter the config menu.

Step 1: Enable the static IP using the telephone connected to the voicebox.
  1. Dial ****, once you hear the voice, dial 101# followed by 0# 1  - Hang up.
  2. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 111#, then 192*168*2*10# 1 - Hang up.
  3. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 121#, then 255*255*255*0# 1    - Hang up.
  4. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 131#, then 192*168*2*1# 1   -Hang up.
Step 2: To check that you have implemented this correctly
  1. Dial **** 100 # to listen to the state of DHCP(voice should say ‘disabled’)
  2. Dial **** 110 # to listen to yourIP address (should say 192.168.2.10)
  3. Dial **** 120 # to listen to your Subnet Mask (should say 255.255.255.0)
  4. Dial **** 130 # to listen to your Default Gateway (should say 192.168.2.1)
Step 3: Login to your SMC router
  1. To access the Wireless Barricade’s management interface, enter the Wireless Barricade IP address in your Web browser http://192.168.2.1.
  2. Then click LOGIN. (By default, there is no password.)
Step 4: Enable the DMZ
  1. Go to the Firewall Menu
  2. You will then see the DMZ option
  3. Enable the DMZ for host IP address 192.168.2.10
  4. Save changes and reboot your router and engin voicebox.
