Speedtouch 536 Series

  1. Click the Start button, then select Run.
  2. Type: telnet 10.0.0.138 then select OK
  3. (Where 10.0.0.138 is the I.P. address of your router, 10.0.0.138 is usually the default)
  4. It will come to a username and password – username: Administrator and press enter for password (there is no password)
  5. Type: connection unbind application=SIP port =5060 [enter]
  6. Type: saveall[enter]
  7. Type: system reboot [enter]
  8. Once the cursor goes to the next line, please take note of your Speed touch modem/router. The three lights will start flashing. This may take up to a minute.
  9. Check for the American dial tone by picking up your telephone receiver.

Other tips

  1. connection bindlist - checks the ALG's currently active.
  2. connection unbind - unbinds the ALG you need to remove.
  3. If you are experiencing 20 second dropouts with AAPT and your firmware is 6.1.0.5 executing the unbind command will also fix that problem.
