Overview
Step 2: Programming the VoIP line for Outbound calls
Use the following programming procedure to change your VOIP SELECTOR to select your VOIP LINE as the default outgoing call line :
- WITH THE TELEPHONE CONNECTED TO VOIP SELECTOR, MAKE AN OUTGOING CALL ON YOUR NORMAL TELEPHONE LINE.
Note - You need to have silence during programming, so a call to your Cellular Phone is recommended. An alternative is to call any other number and have someone answer the call.
- WAIT UNTIL THE CALL IS ANSWERED AND THE LINE IS SILENT. Answer the call on your mobile, or when the outgoing call is answered,
proceed as follows :
- PRESS ### ON YOUR TELEPHONE TO ENTER PROGRAMMING MODE. Note - You will hear 3 short beeps to confirm that you are in program mode.
Note - If you cannot hear 3 short beeps to confirm that you are in program
mode, you should repeat steps 1-3.
- PRESS #9 ON YOUR TELEPHONE TO CHANGE TO VOIP OUTGOING CALL DEFAULT. Note - You will hear 1 short beep to confirm this entry. If you hear 2 beeps, you have made an incorrect entry and must re-enter #9.
- HANG UP TO LEAVE PROGRAMMING MODE. NOTE - If power is lost, VOIP SELECTOR will RESET to the original FACTORY SETTING.
You will need to re-program VOIP SELECTOR if you wish to again set the default outgoing line to your VOIP service.
