Overview
Step 1: Login to the ZyXEL P-2002L
- Login to the ZyXEL P-2002L by using 192.168.5.1 into your web browser.
- The password login box will appear. Enter the password " 1234"
- Go to the VoIP menu
- Enter the following details to register to engin
- SIP Number: 0280040000
- SIP Local Port: 5060
- SIP Server Address: syd.byo.engin.com.au
- SIP Server Port: 5060
- REGISTER Server Address: syd.byo.engin.com.au
- REGISTER Server Port: 5060
- SIP Service Domain: byo.engin.com.au
- Authentication: 0280040000
- Authentication User-ID: 0280040000
- Authentication Password: SIP password
- Sending Caller ID: yes (tick)
Step 3: Configuring VoIP Advanced Settings
- Go to the advanced settings link (bottom of VoIP menu page)
- Enter the following details
- URL Type : SIP
- Expiration Duration: 1800
- Register Re-send timer: 180
- Session Expires: 180
- Min-SE 180
- RTP
Port Range From: 16384 To: 20384
- Voice Compression: Preferred Compression Type: G729>G711
- Change DTMF mode to: RFC2833
- Click Apply
- Activate Echo Cancellation (G.168)
- Disable VAD for better quality calls.
- Leave dialing interval at 3:
- Change Country code to Australia
- Change call Service mode to USA.
- Map Incoming Lifeline into Phone1
