Overview
Step 1: Login to your Asus router
- To access the Asus router configuration screens: Open your web browser. Type the default IP address
http://192.168.1.1
- Enter in the username: admin, and password: admin
Step 2: Run the setup wizard to connect to your ISP
- When you login to the Asus WL series router, you will be presented with several options.
- Run the Quick Setup Wizard to configure your PPPoE
connection automatically or follow the Step 3:
Step 3: Setup PPPoE
manually
- Select WAN
connection Type: PPPoE
- Select WAN
connection Speed : Auto Negotiation
- Leave the WAN
IP settings options
- Enter your ISP
's DNS into the DNS field. If you are not sure of your ISP
's DNS, select "Obtain Automatically"
- Enter your username and password to connect to your ISP
's network
- Save all changes
- Select Status and Log to view if you are connected to your service provider.
