How do I setup my Draytek 2820 to the engin VoIP network? |

Overview
Step 1: Login to the Draytek 2820
- Type or click http://192.168.1.1
- Please type default values (both username and password are Null) on the window for the first time accessing and click OK for next screen.
Step 2: Setup your engin SIP account
- Go to VoIP > SIP accounts
- Select " Register via Auto"
- For Domain / Realm enter: byo.engin.com.au
- For the Proxy field enter: syd.byo.engin.com.au
- Tick " Act as outbound proxy"
- Display Name: Your Name
- For Auth ID : Your engin number (i.e. 0280040000)
- For Password: Your engin SIP password (not to login to your account)
- Expiry time: 900 seconds
- For Ring port: port 1
Step 3: Setup voice codecs
- Go to VoIP > Phone Settings
- Ensure Codec
is selected as G729a, you can can change to G711a if bandwidth
is available.
- Go to VoIP > Phone Settings > Advanced Settings
- Make sure DTMF is set to INBAND (RFC2833 does not work)
- Set the region to Australia
Step 5: Check Registration
- Go to VoIP > SIP account settings
- You should notice " R" for registration which means your service is now ready to be used.
