How do I setup my Commander Pulse VoIP PBX to the engin network?

Overview


Step 1: Login to your Commander Pulse VoIP PBX
  1. Open up your web browser.
  2. Log in to the Commander Pulse VoIP PBX at its default LAN address of  http://192.168.1.1
Step 2: Setup the SIP server
  1. Go To VoIP setup
  2. Enter the SIP details as below
  3. User Domain: byo.engin.com.au
  4. Registar Server Proxy: byo.engin.com.au
  5. Registar SIP Port: 5060
  6. Registar Expiry time : 900
  7. Transport for INVITES: UDP
  8. Preferred Codec : G729
  9. Outbound Server : syd. byo.engin.com.au
  10. Enable Silence suppression
  11. Change DTMF to RFC2833


Step 3: Setup Auth ID
  1. Tick Register
  2. Enter Username as your engin phone number: 0280040000
  3. Enter Login name as your engin phone number: 0280040000
  4. Enter your 8 character SIP password: xa987haj (this is not the password)
Step 4: Save and restart
  1. Click save and restart
  2. The PBX will reboot
Step 5: Check Status
  1. Go to Diagnostics > Status
  2. Your SIP service will be registered and confirmed with a tick.
