Overview
Please note you will need to enter the * key to define the periods in the IP address
ie: 10*0*0*10 = 10.0.0.10. Make sure to hang up between each part of this step. After picking up the phone, dial **** to re-enter the config menu.
Step 1: Assign the static IP
- Dial ****, once you hear the voice, dial 101# followed by 0# 1 - Hang up.
- Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 111#, then 192*168*1*10# 1 - Hang up.
- Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 121#, then 255*255*255*0# 1 - Hang up.
- Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 131#, then 192*168*1*254# 1 -Hang up.
Step 2: To check that you have implemented this correctly
- Dial **** 100 # to listen to the state of DHCP (voice should say ‘disabled’)
- Dial **** 110 # to listen to your IP address
(should say 192.168.1.10)
- Dial **** 120 # to listen to your Subnet Mask (should say 255.255.255.0)
- Dial **** 130 # to listen to your Default Gateway
(should say 192.168.1.254)
Step 3: Login to your Billion 7202
- Login to the modem via the web browser and enter the following IP address
http://192.168.1.254
- Enter the Username: admin, Password: admin
Step 4: Port Forwarding Setup for SIP (Will not work if your Billion device supports VoIP
- Go to the menu located on the left hand side of your screen.
- Click Configuration > Virtual Server
- Click Add
- Enter Application: SIP
- Enter Protocol: UDP
- Enter Public Start Port: 5060
- Enter Public End Port: 5061
- Enter Mapped IP: 192.168.1.10
- Click Apply
Step 5: Port Forwarding Setup for
RTP
- Enter Application: RTP
- Enter Protocol: UDP
- Enter Public Start Port: 16384
- Enter Public End Port: 2038
- Enter Mapped IP: 192.168.1.10
- Click Apply
- In some cases it may be necessary to disable the SPI firewall
if experiencing call dropouts
- Disable this option as a last resort
