How do I configure QoS for the Dynalink RTA1025W / RT1335?

Overview


Step 1: Login to the Dynalink RTA1025W / RTA1335
  1. Start your web browser and type the private IP address of the ADSL Router in the URL field: http://192.168.1.1
  2. After connecting to the device, you will be prompted to enter username and password. By default, the username is admin and the password is admin.
Step 2: The QoS Menu
  1. Go to the Advanced > IP QoS
  2. Click Add
Step 3: Setup QoS for SIP signaling

  1. Traffic Class Name: SIP
  2. Traffic Conditions LAN Ports which traffic come from: Select both options - Ethernet  & Wireless
  3. Protocol: UDP
  4. Source IP Address : 192.168.1.10
  5. Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
  6. Source Port (Start-End): 5060-5061
  7. Destination IP Address : Leave Blank
  8. Subnet Mask: Leave Blank
  9. Destination Port(Start-End): Leave Blank
  10. Assign Priority for this Traffic Rule Traffic Priority: High
Step 4: Setup QoS For RTP traffic
  1. Traffic Class Name: RTP
  2. Traffic Conditions LAN Ports which traffic come from: Select both options - Ethernet  & Wireless
  3. Protocol: UDP
  4. Source IP Address : 192.168.1.10
  5. Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
  6. Source Port (Start-End): 16384-20384
  7. Destination IP Address : Leave Blank
  8. Subnet Mask: Leave Blank
  9. Destination Port(Start-End): Leave Blank
  10. Assign Priority for this Traffic Rule Traffic Priority: High
