I have a SPA-3102, how do I setup a DMZ configuration with a static IP address for my TP-LINK R460?

Overview

Step 1: Login to your TP-LINK R460
  1. Start your web browser and type the private IP address of the Router in the URL field: http://192.168.1.1
  2. After connecting to the device, you will be prompted to enter username and password. By default, the username is admin and the password is admin.
Step 2: Check SPA-3102 IP address
  1. Go to DHCP > DHCP List
  2. Check if the SPA-3102 is connected and make note of the IP address and MAC address . In this partucular example, the SPA-3102 has an IP address of 192.168.1.100


Step 3: Reserve IP
  1. Go to address reservation and enter the SPA-3102 IP address and MAC address into the fields below.
  2. Click Save to apply changes


Step 4: Disable the firewall
  1. In some cases, it may be necessary to disable the firewall if you have not configured port forwarding for your engin service.
  2. Disable the firewall as shown below if call dropouts are occurring.


Step 5: Enable the DMZ
  1. Go to Forwarding > DMZ
  2. Enter the DMZ  IP Address : 192.168.1.100
  3. Click Save
