Overview
Step 1: Accessing your unit
- Connect your phone into the PHONE port of your Sipura ATA
.
- Dial **** then 110#, the SPA will announce the current IP address
- Once you have the IP address
of your SPA-2000 you can access the web interface by opening a web browser and typing the following in the Address: http:/ /< IP Address
of SPA-2000> For example: http://192.168.1.10
- Enter the username: user and your SIP password
- Next click admin login or add admin/advanced to the IP address
. For example, http://192.168.1.10/admin/advanced
- Enter the username: admin and your SIP password
Step 2: Configuring your SIP account.
- Go to LINE 1
- Enable the LINE
Step 3: Proxy and Registration
- Go to the Proxy and registration heading
- For SIP proxy enter: byo.engin.com.au
- OB Proxy: syd.byo.engin.com.au
- Enter your Display Name: John Doe
- For USER ID enter your engin number: i.e. 0280040000
- For the password field, enter the SIP password which was given to you: i.e 8174dBGFs
- For AUTH ID enter your engin number: i.e. 0280040000 and set to ENABLE
- Select Yes to "Use DNS SRV" and "DNS SRV Auto Prefix"
Step 4: Audio Configuration & Dial Plans
- Change the preferred codec
to G729a
- You can change your codec
to G711a and disable silent suppression to improve call quality.
- Add the below dial plan
- (*xx|13[1-9]xxxS0|1[38]00xxxxxxS0|190xxxxxxx|0011xxxxx.|[2-9]xxxxxxxS0|0[2-9]xxxxxxxxS0|04xxxxxxxx)
- Submit all changes by clicking the submit button.
