How do I enable remote access for my Siemens modem?


Overview
Step 1: Login to your Speedstream modem
Step 2: Enabling remote access
Step 3: Provide your Public IP

Step 1:  Login to your Speedstream modem
  1. Login to the speedstream modem via http://10.1.1.1 (Optus) or 10.0.0.138 (Telstra)
  2. Enter the username: admin, and password admin if necessary
Step 2:  Enabling remote access
  1. Go to  Remote Access
  2. Enable HTTP port 9980
  3. Allow access for 2800 minutes (48 hours)
  4. Click the enable button


Step 3:  Provide your public IP address
  1. Advise engin the current WAN IP address (click this link):packetman.com.au/kb/ip.php
  2. Send the details.
