Overview
Step 1: Login to the modem
- Login via http://192.168.1.1 Your username is admin, and the password is admin
- Go to Quick Setup and deselect the check box below to scan the Internet connection automatically
- For Australia , the VPI and VCI numbers for your Internet connection will be 8, 35 respectively.
- Select Next

Step 2: Select PPPoE
- Select the encapsulation type for PPPoE
. It should be LLC/SNAP
- Select Next

Step 3: Configure WAN
IP settings
- Select Obtain IP address
automatically, enable NAT, and leave the MTU
as 1492.
- Select Next
Step 4: Enter your PPP username and password
- Enter your ISP
username and password and " Always on"
- Select Next

Step 5: Configure LAN settings
- Select Obtain IP address
automatically, enable NAT, and leave the MTU
as 1492.
- Select Next

Step 6: Summary Page confirmation
- The Internet Connect Summary will appear confirming your connection details
- Select Next

Step 7: Connect your modem to the internet
- Your status should be training and ready to connect.
- Select Connect

- Your ADSL
modem should be connected to broadband
as per the status screen
- Open up your web browser to verify if you have internet access.
