1. Run the application and install it once the download is complete.
2. Open the X-lite desktop icon
3. To setup your X-lite softphone , you will first need to add a SIP account by right clicking on the softphone
4. Click "Add"

The following settings will be required to correctly configure your X-lite softphone to your VSP network. The following below is an example to connect to the engin network using the X-lite softphone.

• Display Name: Your Name
• Username: Your engin phone number (i.e: 0280040000)
  
• Authorisation User Name: Your engin phone number (i.e: 0280040000)
• Password: Your engin SIP password
• Domain: byo.engin.com.au
• Tick: “ register with domain and receive incoming calls".
• Select: “Send outbound via: Proxy".
• Address: Enter the outbound proxy address provided to you by engin.
• Supported X-lite codecs: G711alaw

1. Right click on the softphone and go to OPTIONS
2. Go to Advanced
3. Go to Audio Codecs
4. Select G711a
5. Save your settings by pressing OK
