Overview

Step 1: Find the SIP settings menu
  1. First go to SIP Settings menu
  2. Select Options
  3. Add New and use the default profile and enter the following information
Step 2: Configuring your SIP account.
  • Profile name: engin
  • Service profile: IETF
  • Default access point: Engin
  • Public user name: sip: 0280040000@voice.mibroadband.com.au
  • User compression: No
  • Registration: When needed
  • Use security: No
  • Proxy Server:
  • Proxy Server Address: byo.engin.com.au
  • Realm: mobileinnovations.com.au
  • Username: 0280040000
  • Password: passW0rd (8 character SIP password)
  • Allow loose routing: Yes
  • Transport Type: UDP
  • Port: 5060
  • Registrar Server:
  • Registrar serv. addr.: byo.engin.com.au
  • Realm: mobileinnovations.com.au
  • User name: 0280040000
  • Password: passW0rd (8 character SIP password)
  • Transport type: UDP
  • Port: 5060
Exit to the connections menu and set up a VoIP profile.

Step 3: Configuring a VoIP Profile:

  1. Enter the Internet tel. Settings menu.
  2. Select Options->New profile
  3. A new profile named Default will appear. Select this profile and ensure that the SIP profiles setting is engin.
